Our Services

Our jewelry repair services in Oxnard?

We offer six core services and several specialty jobs. Each service has its own page with full detail, pricing, and FAQs.

Ring Resizing

Ring repair covers the most common jobs we see: resizing, prong re-tipping, broken shank repair, half-shank rebuilds, stone resetting, and rhodium plating for white gold. Most resizings and prong work are finished the same day. Typical price range: $30 to $200.

Watch Repair

Watch repair covers battery replacement, band and strap swaps, crown and crystal fixes, water-resistance reseal, and basic movement service. Most battery jobs are done in under fifteen minutes. Typical price range: $8 to $100 for common jobs.

Necklace & Chain Repair

Necklace and chain repair covers broken chain soldering, clasp replacement, link repair, pendant bail repair, and pearl or bead restringing. Gold, silver, platinum, and white gold. Most chain solders are done in under an hour. Typical price range: $20 to $80.

stone replacement

Stone replacement covers diamond and colored gemstone sourcing, prong rebuilding, bezel setting repair, and secure resetting. We match by cut, color, and clarity rather than pushing the closest stone we have on hand. Typical price range: $30 to $300+ depending on the stone.

Jewelry Cleaning top rated oxnardjewelryrepair.com in Oxnard, California, United States

Jewelry cleaning covers ultrasonic cleaning, steam cleaning, hand polishing, rhodium plating, and gentle cleaning for delicate stones. The Gemological Institute recommends professional cleaning two to four times a year for daily-worn jewelry. Typical price range: $20 to $50.

Bracelet & Earring Repair

Bracelet and earring repair covers clasp repair, link replacement, bangle work, tennis bracelet stone security, earring post and back replacement, and hoop repair. Most are same-day jobs. Typical price range: $15 to $80.

What specialty work do you handle?

Beyond the core six, our Oxnard shop handles several specialty jobs that need extra equipment or experience:

  • Laser welding for repairs near stones where traditional soldering would risk heat damage.
  • Antique and heirloom restoration for Art Deco, Victorian, Edwardian, and mid-century pieces.
  • Vintage clasp repair on older necklaces and bracelets where original parts are no longer made.
  • Stone matching for one-of-a-kind colored gemstones and accent diamonds.
  • Tension setting consultations on rings that need original-maker service.

If you have a piece that another shop turned away, bring it in. We give a free, honest assessment and tell you whether the job is something we can do safely or whether you need a specialist referral.

We are honest about the few jobs we cannot safely do:

  • Tungsten and ceramic rings cannot be cut or rejoined.
  • Full eternity bands need a setting rebuild, not a simple resize.
  • Some tension settings must go back to the original maker.
  • Severely heat-damaged stones cannot be restored.
  • Quartz watch movements with corroded boards are usually a replacement, not a repair.

If your piece falls into one of these groups, the inspection is still free and we explain the options clearly.

We serve customers across Ventura County from our Oxnard shop. See the full coverage on our service area page, including dedicated pages for Ventura, Camarillo, Port Hueneme, and Thousand Oaks.
